What a beautiful day for the annual (FFA) Food for America field day organized by the Intro to Ag classes at the high school. Our East Primary Bullpups were so engaged as they learned about where their food comes from with stations that included pigs, goats, sheep, ducks, chickens, horses, tractors and a drone. The high school students did an amazing job, they were organized, well spoken and super polite. We are so thankful for this partnership and the awesome opportunity to bring this hands on learning event back year after year!
Our piggie is getting ready for his kissing date! Bring them coins/dollars in to pick your "winner". Going to be a great time for the kids, we aren't to sure if the winner will be as thrilled.

Beginning May 9th, our school will be participating in a school wide shared reading event! Every family at East and West school will receive a copy of the same book, Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White - families will be asked to read the book together at home following the same schedule. I know you will enjoy this special reading time with your family. I am excited to hear all about the adventures of Fern and Wilbur and the lessons imparted by a noble spider.
East Primary is so thankful for our teaching staff! We are having fun showing them the love with a week of goodies. Every day is a new treat, today's treat is a snack trolley that is making it's way through the halls for teachers to pick snacks and beverages.
