Starting Monday students will have new schedules for S2. We will be handing out schedules in the AC first thing in the morning. Students will get in lines based on their grade level and last name.
Schedule changes can be made for the first two weeks of the semester. Please see Mrs. Hunt regarding schedule questions.
In addition, starting on Monday the lunch schedule will change. 8th graders will have first lunch, 6th graders will have second lunch, with 7th still divided between the two.

Today was country vs. country club day here at SMS. Tomorrow is neon day, and our Glow in the Dark Dance! Wear your best neon gear and strut your stuff in the AC tomorrow from 12:30 to 2:00. The dance is $5, or free with your ASB sticker if you bought it at the start of the year. Pizza and soda will be available for $1 and $2, and we will be selling light up sunglasses tomorrow morning during breakfast for $5. All funds raised go back into the ASB fund to help fund other dances! See you there!

Next week is spirit week. Monday kicks it off with Pajama Day! That's right, for one day and one day only, pajama pants are off the dresscode list! Come dressed in your favorite pajamas (school appropriate of course) and kick off the fun!

Next Week (1/10-1/14) will be our Winter Spirit Week, and on 1/14 we will be holding our second dance of the year!
Monday will be Pajama Day
Tuesday will be USA Day
Wednesday will be Anything But a Backpack Day
Thursday will be Country Club vs. Country Day
Friday will be Neon Day, with the Dance being Glow in the Dark Theme
The dance on 1/14 will be $5 or free if you've purchased your ASB sticker for the year, and there will be pizza and drinks available. The dance will be indoors due to rain, and therefor masks will be required. Check back here next week for photos of the fun!

Boys basketball tryouts are coming up next week after school on Wednesday and Thursday. Students interested in participating should plan on being available after school both days. Check in with Mr. Crane and Mrs. Deaton for more details!

Tomorrow is our Holiday Activity day here at SMS. There will be lots of activities going on, and we are encouraging students to dress up in their best festive gear. Ugly Sweaters, favorite holiday themed pajamas, or best dressed gear are all encouraged (still school appropriate though). It is still a Friday halfday schedule. The staff and students are looking forward to the fun tomorrow, we'll post pictures of door decorations and outfits here tomorrow.

Our band and choir have been working hard in preparation for their winter concert tonight. The holiday fun starts at 7:00 in the high school gym!
